My name is Robin Schoof and I am a lover of all things creative. I've always enjoyed art, especially painting, collage, and polotical art. My influences include Mark Rothko, Jean Michele-Basquit, Betsy Johnson and Sabrina Ward Harrison. My style of art is a very tactile one that included color, fluidity and contrast. I often include visual and metaphorical suggestions for the viewer to ponder.
I began this company with visions of sharing the world of art with others, whether through lessons or special one-of-a-kind art gifts at affordable prices. Perhaps the most exciting facet of the business began in 2008: working to help local chartities through art. Each year Kitty Q holds several charity events, donating proceeds to the chosen charities. Pervious charity events have benefitted a variety of groups, including the American Human Society, the CYstiv Fibrosis Foundation, MORC, the American Human Society, Karmanos Cancer Institute, and the Salvation Army.
Kitty Q supports the arts and youth. Please check out the variety of classes and private lessons available to children ages 5 to 18. Classes are offered in sessions, each session consisting of four lessons. Cost for these sessions including materials is are very reasonable. Students are encouraged to put a piece of their art up for sale in one of the charity art shows. This involvement in the art community is a confidence booster to children of all ages.
Finally, Kitty Q support several basic philosophies: everyone possesses natural creativity, all living creatures should be treated respectfully, and we should all work to take care of our Mother Earth. I've included links to some of my favorite website for you to enjoy.
